Aaron Zhou: FP&A initially focused on traditional reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Aaron Zhou: With technology, much of the reporting is now automated using RPA, significantly reducing manual effort.
Aaron Zhou: RPA plays a pivotal role in preparing reports efficiently as soon as data becomes available.
Aaron Zhou: Standard, rule-based, high-volume processes like reporting are ideal candidates for RPA.
Aaron Zhou: AI enhances forecasting by incorporating broader datasets and improving model-driven insights.
Aaron Zhou: FP&A will evolve into a “superhuman” business partner role, driven by stronger data insights.
